We're excited to let you know that Rome & Roll: Gladiators is now live on Kickstarter.
While Rome is being rebuilt, the public demands entertainment!
Emperor Nero wants you to sponsor games in the Colosseum, where gladiators will engage in thrilling battles for the enjoyment of the crowds. Do you have what it takes?
Gladiators is a new expansion to last year's euro-roll-and-write hybrid that adds variety and new paths to victory for the base game.
Rome & Roll: Gladiators has already met the funding goal, and is now on the path to unlocking stretch goals.
The first one revealed is a new Character Expansion, including 2 new playable characters and alternative warehouse tiles, free to all backers (worth £10).

Introducing the Gladiators expansion
We’re happy to announce the Gladiators expansion for Rome & Roll. Coming to Kickstarter in early 2021, the expansion is designed by the original design team of Dávid Turczi and Nick Shaw.
“Our aim with the Gladiators expansion was to enhance the combos that made the core game kick, and push them to eleven!” says Dávid Turczi.
As in the core game, players find themselves rebuilding the city of Rome following the great fire of 64 AD, but now they must also meet the public demands for entertainment! Emperor Nero tasks players with sponsoring games in the Colosseum, where gladiators will engage in thrilling battles for the enjoyment of the crowds.

US Shipping Update / Revised Rulebook

Two quick bits of news for you today: US shipping has started, and we’ve posted a revised rulebook online. Read on for details…
Shipping
English language games for the US & Canada: QML started shipping games last Friday and will finish fulfilment by Friday of this week.
English language games for all destinations except the US & Canada: All games were sent from our UK warehouse by the time of our last update on 24 August. Some packages are taking a little longer in some areas of Europe, so please be patient if yours is not with you yet. For destinations farther from us like Australia and New Zealand, please allow additional time for shipping. Tracking info is not available for these games.
Language editions: Fulfilment by our language partners is underway in most languages, with others to begin soon.
If there are any problems with the game once received, please send us an email with a photo of what you received along with your address to [email protected] and we will take care of things for you.
What’s Next?
We will post another update once the fulfilment of the language editions is complete.
Shipping Update - US & Canada Timing / Other English language shipping complete!

We’re back with another shipping update today.
Here’s the latest:
English language games for all destinations except the US & Canada: Fulfilment is now complete! All games have been shipped from the UK for all destinations aside from the US and Canada. We finished up a few days early so backers in the UK and Europe should have received their games by now.
English language games for the US & Canada: Unfortunately, the boxes of Kickstarter exclusives became separated in shipping and have caused an additional delay as we have missed our fulfilment window. All of the exclusives have now been received and we are slotted for early September. The good news is that QML is prepared and shipping will only take 3-4 days once it begins. We will post another update once fulfilment begins in the US & Canada. As we are very close to fulfilment beginning, address change requests will no longer be possible after today.
Language editions: The Kickstarter exclusive minis have been received by our language partners and fulfilment is underway in most languages, with others to begin in September.
